Wednesfield Aces will be staging the national round 3 of the BY&JL on Saturday 4^th September starting at 12.00,     

The event will attract hundreds of young cycle speedway riders from all corners of the country, they will be racing in 7 different age categories for Under 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s and a section for girls age 12 to 17, the points the riders score all add to their teams total at the end of the days racing,

Clubs that have qualified for the national stages of the league this year are Wednesfield, Sheffield, Kesgrave, Poole, Ipswich and East Newport,these teams can enter as many riders as they wish also joining these riders will be the top six grand prix riders from each of  the regional rounds

Running alongside the team event is a individual grand-prix with the top 16 points scorers from each age category qualifying for A,B,C,D, Finals, with their total points from all the rounds being added to decide who is the grand-prix champion for the different ages,

The League is sponsored by Wosskow-Brown Solicitors and they provide trophies for the winners.

Following our discussions at the Committee meeting on Tuesday the 27^th of October 2009 it was decided to fix dates for monthly committee meetings in advance and publish them to enable committee members to fulfil their attendance commitments.

All meetings will be held at the Clubhouse at Ashmore Park and will commence at 7.30pm.

If Club Officers are not able to attend the meetings they must notify their apologies and reasons to the Club Chairman Dave Jewkes prior to the meeting.

An email reminder and a request for items for discussion will be sent out 7 days prior to the meeting.
